Ten years of Metzler in Beijing

To mark the tenth anniversary of Metzler’s location in Beijing, representatives from over 30 financial institutions gathered in the representative office of B. Metzler seel. Sohn & Co. in Beijing.

At the opening ceremony of Metzler’s representative office in China in 2009, Friedrich von Metzler pointed out that the bank’s long-standing strategy of focusing on the long term has always paid off. Ten years later, Franz von Metzler opened the anniversary event with a speech highlighting the successfully deepened business relationships with local Chinese investors. He emphasized the bank’s loyalty to Beijing and its commitment to China for the long term – to its clients in China and to the further development of the country. Jens Fuhrmann, Bundesbank representative at the German Embassy in Beijing, also acknowledged Metzler's ten-year presence in China in a short speech. Other speakers included Yong Li from Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Chunbo Li from CITIC Securities, and Yi Liu from China Asset Management.
