Seit dem 1. September 2022 ist auch der Metzler European Dividend Sustainability Teil der Fonds-Aktion von ING, die 12 aktiv gemanagte Fonds mit Top-Ratings von Morningstar umfasst. Kunden der ING haben die Möglichkeit, zu Sonderkonditionen in ausgewählte Fondsstrategien mit gutem Track-Record zu investieren – auch via Sparplan. „Wir freuen uns, dass der Metzler European Dividend Sustainability durch seine bewährte Strategie, die umfassende ESG-Integration und seine erfreuliche Entwicklung überzeugt, und von der ING in die jüngste Fonds-Aktion aufgenommen wurde“, kommentiert Oliver Schmidt, Deputy Chief Investment Officer und verantwortlicher Portfoliomanager bei Metzler Asset Management.

Die steigende Inflation verunsichert derzeit viele Kapitalanleger. In einem solchen Marktumfeld sind nach Ansicht von Oliver Schmidt Dividendenaktien eine chancenreiche Anlagealternative: Dividendenaktien können aus zwei Ertragsquellen schöpfen, den Ausschüttungen und möglichen Kursgewinnen. In schwachen Konjunkturphasen der vergangenen Jahre schnitten Dividendenaktien deutlich besser ab als der gesamte Aktienmarkt, da Dividenden eine zusätzliche Absicherung in schwachen Marktphasen bieten. Viele Aktien verbuchen Dividendenerträge von 4 bis 5 Prozent. Diese ordentlichen Erträge können helfen, einen Teil der Inflation auszugleichen. Kurzfristig können Aktienkurse hohen Schwankungen unterliegen, in Krisenzeiten können die Verluste bei Dividendenpapieren entsprechend auch sehr hoch ausfallen. „Über einen langfristigen Zeitraum erzielten Aktien in der Vergangenheit im Durchschnitt aber durchaus Erträge von 7 bis 9 Prozent pro Jahr, je nach Anlageregion. Zukünftige Entwicklungen kann man natürlich nicht vorhersagen, aber für die langfristige Perspektive sollten diese Wertpapiere weiterhin eine sinnvolle Anlage bleiben“, erläutert der Aktienexperte.

Bei dem Publikumsfonds Metzler European Dividend Sustainability, der von der Universal-Investment Ireland verwaltet wird, setzt Schmidt auf Unternehmen mit hohem Dividendenwachstum und vernünftiger Ausschüttungsquote. Der Fokus liegt auf Unternehmen mit überdurchschnittlicher Bilanzqualität und einer sehr hohen Liquiditätsdeckung der Dividenden, wodurch diese vergleichsweise stabil sind. Durch seine ausgewogene Anlagestrategie vereint der Aktienfonds viele Vorteile. Er ist daher besonders geeignet für risikobewusste Anleger, denen regelmäßige überdurchschnittliche Ausschüttungen wichtig sind, die aber auch am Kurspotenzial progressiver Unternehmen partizipieren möchten. Weiterer Vorteil ist die Anlageregion: Die Dividendenrenditen europäischer Unternehmen sind im Durchschnitt am höchsten, die aktuellen Ausschüttungsquoten erreichen Rekordniveau.

Auch in punkto Nachhaltigkeit können Anleger auf die Erfahrung der Metzler-Experten vertrauen. Bei der Strategie werden ergänzend zu Finanzkennzahlen ESG-Aspekte systematisch in den Investmentprozess einbezogen. „Auf diese Weise finden wir gezielt Unternehmen, deren Geschäftsmodelle auch in Krisenzeiten resilient sind. Gleichzeitig können wir Risiken im Portfolio kontrollieren und reduzieren“, ist Schmidt überzeugt.
