Metzler/Payden: combining our competencies
In order to offer clients wider diversification, Metzler Bank and US asset manager Payden & Rygel founded their joint venture Metzler/Payden, LLC based in Los Angeles in 1998. Payden & Rygel, founded in 1983, is one of the world’s largest privately-owned global investment managers with about USD 114 billion in assets under management for institutional and private clients.
The independence maintained by both venture partners is an important feature of the joint venture. It allows us to focus solely on the interests of our clients at all times and to give neutral advice geared exclusively to the client's needs.
Metzler/Payden’s fixed-income strategies
The Metzler/Payden joint venture offers additional investment opportunities to complement a well-diversified portfolio. US asset manager Payden & Rygel is a specialist for managing active fixed-income strategies, e.g. emerging market bonds, absolute return fixed-income securities, investment-grade corporate bonds and high-yield bonds.
