Why do we process your data (purpose of processing) and what is the legal basis?

Your data are used on the basis of a consideration of the justified respective interests in accordance with Article 6(1f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to optimise our web offering, to ensure IT security and to prevent cyber attacks. The data are regularly deleted.

Any data such as your email address that you make available to us are used in correspondence with you. Such data are used solely for the purpose for which you provide them. Some emails received via our website are forwarded to a company in the Metzler Group for direct processing. If you object to this, please inform us of this in your email.

If you have given us your consent to process your personal data for specific purposes (e.g. to send you marketing materials by email), the lawfulness of such processing is based on your consent.

Who receives my data?

As a matter of principle, your data are not forwarded to third parties.

Service providers and agents used by us may receive data where this is necessary for the performance of services such as IT services, advice and consulting.

Further data recipients may be departments for which you have given us your consent to data transmission.
