In cooperation with Crédit Agricole, Metzler Bank accompanied the IPO of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG (Porsche AG) which took place on September 29, 2022. This marks the date when shares in Porsche AG began to trade on the regulated market (Prime Standard) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The issue comprised 113.9 million Porsche preferred shares, which were offered in a range between EUR 76.50 and EUR 82.50. A volume of EUR 9.4 billion was placed at an issuing price of EUR 82.50.

Metzler Capital Markets was mandated, together with Crédit Agricole, as Co-Lead Manager and provided know-how and investor access for research and marketing. Based on a detailed research report published by Jürgen Pieper, Senior Analyst for the automobile sector at Metzler Capital Markets, and his team, German and international investors were informed about the IPO. Investor demand exceeded the supply of Porsche shares many times over, and Metzler's clients played a significant role in this. Metzler Bank and Porsche AG are pleased that the IPO was such a great success.

After successful capital increases for TUI AG and Nordex SE, this was the third ECM transaction that Metzler Capital Markets accompanied in 2022 in cooperation with Crédit Agricole.

Metzler Capital Markets offers support for institutional clients in their equity, bond and forex market transactions in Germany and abroad. One main focus of the Corporate Solutions department is to advise companies on IPOs, rights issues, capital increases, reallocations, share buybacks, bonds and promissory note loans.
