Metzler accompanies successful bond placement of Katjes Greenfood

Metzler Capital Markets has advised Katjesgreenfood GmbH & Co. KG ("Katjes Greenfood") in its successful first bond issue with a total volume of EUR 20 million as joint lead manager for the private placement.

Katjes Greenfood, headquartered in Düsseldorf/Germany, is part of the Katjes Group. As a legally independent investment company, Katjes Greenfood invests in growth companies in the food industry that are redefining the future of nutrition with innovative and sustainable products.

The issue comprised a public offering for investors in Germany and Luxembourg as well as a private placement with institutional investors in selected countries within and outside Europe. The private placement was led by Metzler Bank and IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG. "We congratulate Katjes Greenfood on the successful placement of the bond, which contributes to the sustainable financing of the company's growth”, said Dr. Karsten Iltgen, Head of Corporate Solutions at Metzler Bank. "The issue has met with great interest from institutional and private investors. We at Metzler Capital Markets are pleased that we were able to accompany the company as joint lead manager and interest our investors in the transaction."

Katjes Greenfood's bond issue, with a total volume of EUR 20 million, comprises unsecured bearer bonds with a nominal value of EUR 1,000 each and a maturity of five years with a fixed coupon of 8.00 percent p. a.

Metzler Capital Markets, one of four business units of Metzler Bank, serves institutional investors in equity, bond and foreign exchange market transactions in Germany and abroad. One focus of the Corporate Solutions department is advising companies on bond issues, promissory note loans, IPOs, rights issues, capital increases, re-placements and share buybacks.
