Top marks achieved once again in UN PRI assessment

In the current „PRI Assessment Report” for 2024, Metzler Asset Management was once again recognized for top ESG performance. The UN PRI awarded Metzler Asset Management with the highest rating of five stars in a total of nine categories. This confirms Metzler Asset Management's strong position among leading asset managers in Germany.

Metzler Asset Management achieved the top score of five stars in the following nine categories:

Active fundamental equity strategies
Active quantitative equity strategies
Passive equity strategies
Fixed income corporate bonds
Fixed income collateralized
Fixed income SSA
Policy and strategy management
Confidence building measures
Selection, appointment and monitoring of managers - Real Estate

These ratings underline Metzler Asset Management's consistent integration of ESG criteria into its investment process as well as the company's active commitment to strengthening ESG factors through engagement and exercising voting rights in the economy.

UN PRI: benchmark for sustainable investments

The Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) were founded in 2005 on the initiative of the United Nations in order to promote the integration of ESG criteria in capital investments. Since signing the principles in 2012, Metzler Asset Management has been actively committed to sustainable investment practices and has offered comprehensive ESG reporting since 2018.
