Metzler strengthens its Capital Markets division with Daniel Schwarz as equity analyst for automotive companies

Metzler Bank is continuing to expand its Capital Markets division. Effective April 15, 2026, Daniel Schwarz will join Metzler Capital Markets as an equity analyst in Equity Research.
Daniel Schwarz (50) has more than 20 years of experience analysing international automotive companies. Most recently, he worked as Portfolio Manager for Global Large Caps at R+V Versicherung in Wiesbaden. Before that, he headed the European Autos Team at Stifel in Frankfurt as Managing Director. Earlier stages of his career included positions at Credit Suisse in London, MainFirst in Frankfurt, Commerzbank and ING Financial Markets. His professional focus lies in fundamental equity research as well as in-depth analysis of the European automotive sector. Daniel Schwarz succeeds Pal Skirta, who is pursuing new professional opportunities.
